We specialise in creating handmade four poster beds with a high level of craftsmanship, elegance and comfort. All our furniture is bespoke to you and made to order, this ensures you receive the exact specification you require.

Low Beds

If you’re not looking to have a full canopy four poster bed, we offer a range of low beds to suit your needs. All our low beds are available from single to super king size and are completed with a headboard, foot board or foot rail.

Pencil Post Beds

These beds tend to feature four long posts without a ‘roof’, each post is finished with a finial at the top. Pencil post beds offer the feeling of a traditional four poster bed, without the enclosed feeling of the canopy on top. The foot of the bed can either be kept as a rail, or a board.

Half Tester Beds

These beds feature a canopy that doesn’t extend to the food of the bed and only covers the head section. Half tester beds have either a foot board or an end rail, all beds can also feature different finials and end pieces. Canopy Beds

In the USA, they are called canopy four poster beds, or canopy beds. Here in the UK, we call them four poster beds. Just send us through an enquiry with your ideas and requirements. Please remember to think about the height of the room, and tight distances, e.g. the measurement in an alcove, or between light fittings, or electrical sockets.

All beds are made to order, to suit your exact needs. Bespoke commissions are welcomed. Please bring, or send us an idea, perhaps a photo from a magazine or a sketch, and we can develop your perfect bed!

Many people, including guest house and hotel owners, prefer a simpler four poster bed, that consists of a headboard, four posts and a cornice. The headboard can be wooden or upholstered. Since the beginning, the team has developed numerous standard and one-off canopy bed designs for both designers, interior designers, hoteliers, as well as private customers.
